The Dual-Diagnosis Program at The Ranch Mississippi is based on personal responsibility and is designed for those patients who have difficulty maintaining sobriety from their chemical dependency.

The combination of daily structure, group therapy, education, monitored self-administration of medications, and medication checks with the psychiatric nurse practitioner and addictionist is the foundation for personal growth. Patients are expected to perform self-care that includes personal hygiene, laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation, habitat cleanliness, and attendance of scheduled treatment activities. The Ranch Mississippi is not a locked unit. Patients who become acutely psychotic, physically aggressive, or a threat to themselves or others may be transferred to a psychiatric facility for their protection. Patients may transfer back to The Ranch Mississippi to complete their treatment protocol after stabilization is achieved. Dual Diagnosis treatment includes psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and Dual Diagnosis group therapy.

Our focus at The Ranch Mississippi is on healing the whole person, not just the problem. Call 844-242-0036.
